ROLE OVERVIEW

The Associate Brand Manager (ABM) is responsible for driving marketing initiatives and supporting brand growth. This role focuses on executing strategic plans for high-visibility programs, leveraging consumer insights to deliver innovation, renovation, and promotional strategies that maximize revenue and share. The ABM partners cross-functionally with Sales, Supply Chain, Finance, and external agencies to ensure flawless execution of seasonal campaigns and merchandising. Success in this role requires strong analytical skills, creativity, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

ACCOUNTABILITIES
  • Seasonal Program Strategy & Execution
    • Develop and implement seasonal marketing strategies for Grocery category, ensuring alignment with overall brand objectives. Lead planning for seasonal programs, including packaging, merchandising, and promotional activities to drive incremental sales and share.
  • Innovation & Renovation Leadership
    • Support the identification of white-space opportunities and consumer trends to inform innovation and renovation projects. Manage timelines and cross-functional inputs to deliver new profitable product launches.
  • Business Analysis & Insights
    • Analyze business performance, market trends, and competitive activity to inform strategic decisions. Translate insights into actionable recommendations for pricing, promotion, and portfolio optimization.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
    • Coordinate with Sales, Supply Chain, Finance, and external agencies to ensure seamless program execution. Act as the seasonal subject matter expert for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Budget Management & ROI Tracking
    • Own total Snacks & Grocery budget, monitor spend, and track ROI to ensure financial targets are met. Provide input into annual planning and deliver post-program performance reviews.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Strategic Thinking
    • Ability to develop and execute strategies that align with long-term brand and business objectives. Must anticipate market trends and consumer needs to maintain competitive advantage.
  • Analytical & Financial Acumen
    • Proficiency in analyzing syndicated data (Nielsen, IRI), financial metrics, and consumer insights to drive data-based decisions. Strong capability to manage P&L .
  • Project Management
    • Exceptional organizational skills to manage multiple programs simultaneously, ensuring timely execution and cross-functional alignment.
  • Communication & Influence
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills to present strategies and influence stakeholders across functions. Ability to lead agency relationships and external partnerships effectively.
  • Consumer-Centric Mindset
    • Deep understanding of consumer behavior and ability to translate insights into action. Passion for delivering differentiated experiences that resonate with target audiences.
Experience & Education:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field; MBA preferred.

Experience: 2-4 years in brand management or marketing within CPG; experience with seasonal programs and cross-functional leadership strongly preferred. Familiarity with syndicated data tools (Nielsen, IRI) and financial analysis required.
