Job Description

Perform a variety of duties to support truck manufacturing, paint, and blast operations in an indoor/outdoor environment that is not temperature controlled. Operate equipment and machinery such as forklifts, scissor lifts, and overhead cranes. Ensure compliance with all internal policies, procedures, and practices to support risk management and overall safety. Be aware of your environment and surroundings at all times.

Responsibilities

• Operate and manage equipment and machinery including forklifts, scissor lifts, and overhead cranes.
• Support truck manufacturing, paint, and blast operations.
• Adhere to all internal policies and procedures to ensure safety and regulatory compliance.
• Report pertinent information to the immediate supervisor as requested or according to an established schedule.

Essential Skills

• Proficient in general labor, assembly, and lifting boxes.
• Experience with press brake and machine operation.
• Ability to read blueprints and use a tape measure.
• Proficient reading, writing, grammar, and mathematics skills.
• Strong interpersonal relations and communication skills.
• Proficient mechanical skills, visual and auditory skills.
• Ability to stand, sit, bend, reach, climb, and lift items weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Experience with hand and power tools.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Ability to work at heights and inside confined spaces.
• Capability to wear respiratory protection.
• Reliable transportation is required.

Work Environment

Work in a large industrial building with production happening throughout the day. This is a loud and busy manufacturing environment where you must be able to work in all conditions, as it may be cold in the winter and hot in the summer. Our client assembles mechanic trucks, water trucks and tanks, and vac trucks.

This is a Contract position based out of Hollidaysburg, PA.

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Hollidaysburg,PA.
