Job Description
This role focuses on general mechanical assembly work, including caulking, hanging doors, and assembling storage containers for batteries. The position requires the ability to work with hand and power tools, follow instructions accurately, and consistently report to work as scheduled.
Responsibilities
- Assemble storage containers for batteries according to provided instructions and specifications.
- Perform caulking tasks to seal and finish assembled components as required.
- Hang and install doors on storage containers, ensuring proper alignment and functionality.
- Use hand tools, including wrenches, to perform basic mechanical assembly tasks.
- Operate power tools safely and correctly to support assembly and production activities.
- Follow verbal and written directions from supervisors and team leads throughout the shift.
- Work efficiently on an assembly line to meet production goals and quality standards.
- Perform general labor tasks related to assembly and production as needed.
- Inspect completed work for accuracy and quality, and make basic adjustments when necessary.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area and follow all safety guidelines and procedures.
Essential Skills
- Ability to use hand tools, including wrenches, for basic mechanical assembly.
- Mechanical aptitude and comfort working with mechanical components.
- Experience or familiarity with mechanical assembly or assembly line work.
- Ability to operate power tools safely in an industrial setting.
- Capability to follow directions accurately and work as part of a team.
- Reliability in showing up for work consistently and on time.
- Basic general labor and production experience.

- Willingness to perform a variety of general assembly and labor tasks.
- Ability to learn new assembly processes and adapt to changing production needs.

Work Environment
The role is based in an industrial environment focused on assembly and production activities. Team members work with hand tools and power tools around mechanical components and storage containers. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
