Job Title: Forklift Operator - Shipping
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated forklift operator for a temporary position on the 2nd shift. This role involves using a forklift to move skids of finished products and stage them in the shipping area. The operator will collect products from the production area, perform inventory documentation, and ensure accurate and timely shipping. Additional responsibilities include RF scanning, loading and unloading box trucks or trailers, and using a shrink wrapper to complete the packaging process.
Responsibilities
- Operate a forklift to move skids of finished products to the shipping area.
- Collect products from production areas and perform inventory documentation.
- Stage products to ensure accuracy and timely shipping.
- Use RF scanning technology.
- Load and unload box trucks or trailers.
- Use a shrink wrapper to complete the packaging process of products on skids.
Essential Skills
- Prior forklift experience.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to stand for an entire shift.
- Reliability in attendance.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Prior production/manufacturing experience is preferred.

Work Environment
The work environment is loud, requiring hearing protection at all times. It can be warm to hot due to machinery emitting heat, and plastic may give off a slight odor. Employees must wear a hair net, ear plugs, and safety glasses continuously. The role involves moving between multiple stations for inspecting and packaging products.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Leola, PA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
