The role involves cleaning hospital rooms, primarily focusing on sanitizing rooms between patient discharges. This position requires substantial walking, so comfort with being on your feet all day is essential. Duties include wiping down equipment, emptying trash, sweeping floors, dusting, cleaning spills, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces as needed.

• Clean and sanitize hospital rooms between patient discharges.
• Wipe down equipment and surfaces.
• Empty trash bins and dispose of waste.
• Sweep and mop floors.
• Dust all surfaces to maintain cleanliness.
• Respond to and clean up spills promptly.
• Use hospital-issued iPhones to receive assignments and access cleaning tutorials.
• Familiarize with the hospital floor plan quickly.

• Experience with smartphone technology.
• Ability to walk and be on feet for extended periods.
• Experience in housekeeping, cleaning, or janitorial duties.
• Capacity to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted.

• Previous janitorial experience in healthcare is preferred.
• Willingness to transition from manufacturing or distribution to healthcare.
• GED/diploma preferred.
• Ability to pass a robust background check.

This is a Contract position based out of Lewistown, PA.

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
