Aerotek Is Hiring – MIG Welders (3rd Shift)

Shift: Monday–Friday, 11:00 PM–7:00 AM

Shift Differential: +$1.75/hr for 2nd & 3rd Shift

Position Overview

Aerotek is seeking skilled MIG Welders capable of passing a weld test and performing consistent, high‑quality production welding. This is an excellent opportunity for welders looking for stable overnight hours, strong pay incentives, and long‑term growth within a large, expanding welding department.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate overhead cranes and material‑handling equipment.
• Weld in flat, vertical, and overhead positions.
• Use hand tools, torches, and welding equipment to heat, shape, and form metal parts.
• Assemble and weld metal components according to blueprint specifications.
• Accurately read blueprints, tape measures, and other measuring devices.
• Adjust weld settings/configurations based on job requirements.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Rotate and train in multiple production areas as part of a team‑based workflow.

Required Skills

• Experience with MIG, TIG, or Stick welding.
• 6+ months of welding experience (school or professional).
• Ability to read blueprints and follow detailed instructions.
• Experience with production welding or fabrication environments.
• Ability to use grinders and finishing tools.

Preferred Qualifications

• Welding certificate or graduation from a weld training program.
• 1+ year welding experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong skills using measuring tools (tape measures, gauges, etc.).
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team.

Work Environment

• High‑volume production welding environment.
• Large welding department with 300 welders, expanding to 400.
• Team‑oriented culture that encourages learning and skill growth.
• Dress code: Jeans, clean work shirt, steel‑toe leather boots required.

This is a Permanent position based out of Mc Connellsburg, PA.

The pay range for this position is $47320.00 - $54912.00/yr.

Sign On Bonus: Eligible for FULL TIME employees (Contractors would be eligible upon conversion) $1,500 Total $500 @ 3 months of employment $500 @ 6 months of employment $500 @ 12 months of employment

This is a fully onsite position in Mc Connellsburg,PA.

This position is anticipated to close on Mar 17, 2026.
