Job Description
Join our team as an Avionics Technician where you will play a crucial role in the fabrication and installation of avionics and electrical systems. You will assist with complex installation tasks and contribute to the maintenance and repair of aircraft interiors.
Responsibilities
- Fabricate and install basic avionics and electrical systems.
- Assist with more complex installation tasks.
- Disassemble and reassemble aircraft interiors to facilitate avionics installation or repairs.
- Complete light sheet metal fabrications as directed.
- Assist with wiring harness maps or mock-ups.
- Fabricate and install wiring harnesses.
- Complete antenna and coax installations.
- Conduct or assist with OHM and power checks.
- Conduct or assist with ground checks.
- Terminate wires
- Troubleshooting and Testing of Avionics systems.
Essential Skills
- Proficiency in avionic systems, including installation and troubleshooting.
- Experience with avionics systems testing and helicopter avionics.
- Standard aircraft wiring practices.
- Light sheet metal fabrication.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and wiring diagrams.
- Knowledge of electrical components and soldering techniques.
- At least 2 years of experience with avionics.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with helicopters is a plus.

Work Environment
Work in a large hangar environment alongside 45 dedicated colleagues. The setting is equipped to handle the maintenance and repair of Bell helicopters and Airbus aircraft.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $28.00 - $45.00/hr.
