Drillers Assistant- Geotech

Join our team as a Driller's Assistant, where you will support the driller in various geotechnical tasks. This role involves working outdoors in various weather conditions, assisting in residential construction sites, and occasionally traveling overnight to different locations.

• Assist the driller with daily operations, including loading materials and fueling equipment.
• Operate heavy equipment and service trucks, requiring a CDL license.
• Perform labor-intensive tasks with a focus on teamwork and effective communication.
• Learn and master the helper role, with progression towards operating drilling equipment.
• Travel to job sites within Central PA, Western Maryland, Eastern Panhandle of WV, and Northern Virginia.
• Complete tasks on construction sites, including landscaping, general contracting, and concrete finishing.

• Clean driving record.
• Mechanical skills, preferably with diesel engines.
• Ability to lift 75 lbs.
• 2-3 years of heavy equipment or farming experience.
• Ability to pass drug tests.

• Welding experience.
• Construction experience.
• Experience with power tools and hand tools.
• Ability to travel up to 150 miles a day and be home at night.

Work is conducted outdoors in varying weather conditions, including cold winters and hot summers. Employees will work primarily in residential construction sites and occasionally on military sites, open fields, airports, etc. The role involves tough labor and requires a commitment to high work standards.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of NEWBURG, PA.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr.
