Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Clinical Project Manager with extensive experience in clinical research to lead and manage our oncology studies. The candidate will play a pivotal role in overseeing study start-ups and managing clinical trials, particularly in the field of oncology.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage clinical research studies, with a strong focus on oncology projects.
- Oversee study start-ups and ensure timely patient enrollment and consent processes.
- Coordinate with clinical research teams, including Clinical Research Coordinators and Nurses, to ensure smooth operation of clinical trials.
- Manage vendor relationships and ensure compliance with clinical trial protocols.
- Provide oversight and guidance to staff, ensuring effective line management and project management practices.
Essential Skills
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in clinical research.
- Proven experience in running clinical studies.
- Strong background in oncology research.
- Expertise in patient enrollment, informed consent processes, and clinical trial management.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required; a Master's degree is preferred.
- Experience in staff oversight and line management.
- Proficiency in vendor and portfolio management.
Work Environment
The work environment is a dynamic combination of office and hospital/outpatient surgery settings. You will be part of a fast-paced and high-volume workload environment, managing 27 active studies with a team of 8 staff members. The team consists of 4 Clinical Research Coordinators, 3 Clinical Research Nurses, and 1 Lead Clinical Research Nurse/Program Manager. You will have the opportunity to work with state-of-the-art equipment and engage in high-profile studies with renowned sponsors.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Philadelphia, PA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $32.00 - $36.00/hr.
