Immediately hiring a Metal Fabricator in Philadelphia, PA

We are seeking an experience Metal Fabricator with TIG and MIG welding abilities to support the production of high-quality custom metal components. This role works closely with engineering, design and shop teams to fabricate precise, visually detailed parts across a variety of metals and project types

This is a direct hire opportunity hiring immediately .

Shift/Pay: 5 Days a week

6:30AM - 5:00PM@ Monday-Thursday

Fridays/Weekends as needed.

Pay $25-35 depending on experience

Job Description

As a Metal Fabricator, you will engage in TIG welding of nonferrous alloys such as brass and aluminum for furniture building. You will assist with manual machining and milling, perform set-up, and conduct production operations on a wide variety of projects, all while maintaining high standards for safety and quality. Understanding and utilizing personal protective equipment (PPE) is crucial in this role.

Responsibilities

  • Perform TIG welding on nonferrous alloys for furniture building.
  • Assist with manual machining and milling.
  • Conduct set-up and production operations on diverse projects.
  • Maintain safety and quality standards.
  • Understand and utilize personal protective equipment.

Skills

  • 5+ years' experience in a production environment.
  • Proven track record with hand tools, power tools, and typical shop equipment such as band saws, drill presses, and grinding/sanding machines.
  • 3-5 years of MIG & TIG welding on steel (16 gauge-quarter inch thickness).
  • Highly advanced in interpreting blueprints and drawings.
  • Consistent attention to detail, ensuring the highest quality of finished products and minimal rework.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience with furniture building, architectural elements, or mechanic work (or similar field) is required.

Work Environment

This is a Permanent position based out of Philadelphia, PA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $72800.00/yr.
