Battery Swap Technician – Travel Role (Home on Weekends)

Location: Travel during the week, home every weekend

Pay: Competitive

Duration: 6+ months

Description:

Join our team on a Battery Swap Project where we’ll be replacing approximately 9,000 UPS batteries (each weighing 110–120 lbs). This is a labor-intensive role, so we’re looking for candidates who want an opportunity to break into the DC Power Plant world of Data Centers. No prior experience? No problem! You’ll receive on-the-job training plus initial online training.

Schedule:

• Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Expect 1–2 hours of overtime per day

Requirements:

• Must be 18 or older
• Own transportation
• Own credit card for hotel
• Pass drug test and BGC
• Complete online training
• Bring basic hand tools

Skills:

• Cable installation
• Hardware setup
• Strong work ethic and ability to learn

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Pittsburgh, PA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
