HIRING FOR WAREHOUSE ROLE

The Specialist Fulfillment is responsible for supporting order processing and assisting in the preparation and distribution of prescription medication using the fulfillment system.

Responsibilities

• Perform manual packing duties including packing and shipping completed orders.
• Verify accuracy and conformance to quality standards/specifications.
• Prepare packages for mailing.
• Stock non-pharmaceutical products where permitted by pharmacy regulations.
• Assist with department training and support other responsibilities as needed based on judgment or necessity.

• High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
• 1–2 years of relevant experience.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate diplomatically and confidentially.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. repetitively, with or without accommodations.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including pushing, pulling, grasping, and lifting.
• Willingness to work a flexible shift.

• Experience in material handling, unloading, shipping & receiving.
• Familiarity with cycle counts, stocking, labelling, and inventory management.

There is a chance for individuals who show strong attendance and performance to become permanent employees. Once permanent, there are opportunities for career advancement, including the potential to move into a pharmacy technician role if desired.

Work Environment

The work environment is a specialty pharmacy where the team ships out all mail order prescription medications. The role is crucial as timely shipments can be life-saving. This responsibility is taken very seriously, and even in a warehouse or inventory specialist role, your work significantly impacts people's lives. The schedule is Monday to Friday, with flexibility required between 8:00 AM and 8:00 PM.

This is a Contract position based out of Pittsburgh, PA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.50 - $17.50/hr.
