Job Description

We are seeking a skilled technician with experience in the manufacturing environment to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling, testing, and troubleshooting electromechanical products, ensuring the highest level of quality, reliability, and value. This role will also involve training team members, developing work instructions, and supporting process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and test electromechanical products while carefully following work instructions.
• Troubleshoot small electromechanical products and processes, as well as test equipment.
• Interpret engineering prints and schematics, and develop production documents such as work instructions and checklists.
• Train production employees on safety, quality, and processes.
• Support all safety and quality initiatives, including 5S, ESD, and FOD.
• Perform other related duties as required.

Essential Skills

• Associate's degree in Electrical Engineering Technology or a relevant technical degree.
• 1-5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with electromechanical products and mechanical assembly.
• Industrial panel wiring expertise.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with precision instrumentation and complex electromechanical systems.
• Proficiency in Solidworks.
• Ability to interpret and develop schematics and work instructions.
• Candidates with 3+ years of experience preferred.
• Current students who can work part or full time on a contract basis will be considered.

Work Environment

This position is located in a fast-paced, clean manufacturing facility with a focus on lean manufacturing practices. The work hours are from 7am to 4pm, with overtime required at times. Employees enjoy a 30-minute lunch break and small breaks throughout the day. The robotics industry is growing in the Pittsburgh area, offering room for growth and development.
