Job Title: Machine Operator

Pay: $18-$22

Hours: 1st and 2nd Shift

2nd shift: 2:45pm-11pm, OT finishes at 1:15am

1st shift: 6:30am-3pm, OT starts at 4:15am

Job Description

As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for performing various manufacturing activities, including the production and inspection of products to ensure they meet customer requirements. You will convert raw materials into finished products, build products to standard rates, and complete in-process inspections. Additionally, you will interface with computer software to find documents and complete data entry. Your role will involve building simple point-to-point cables following drawings and instructions to a high level of quality and productivity.

Responsibilities

• Perform simple cable assembly and connector operations to build high-quality products.
• Convert raw materials into finished products.
• Build products to standard rates.

Essential Skills

• Minimum 5+ years of experience operating core extruder or injection mold machines.
• Ability to measure accurately using a ruler or tape measure.
• Willingness and ability to cross-train and be effective in various processes.
• Comfortable functioning in a manufacturing environment.
• Some computer experience.
• Familiarity with hand tools, assembly, and inspection.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with microscope, compactors, and measurement tools such as micrometers and calipers is a plus.
• No soldering certifications required, but familiarity with soldering is ideal.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Pottstown, PA.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Pottstown,PA.
