Forklift Operator/ Warehouse Worker

IMMEDIATELY HIRING!

Seeking a dedicated and skilled Warehouse worker/ Forklift Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience with sit-down forklifts and be capable of lifting up to 70 lbs regularly. This role involves working throughout the location, moving skids, staging areas, and loading trucks with pallets of bagged mulch and topsoil products. Most work is performed outside, requiring comfort with all weather conditions and uneven surfaces. Prior warehouse experience will be required to be considered for this position. This is a FULL TIME and LONG TERM opportunity, looking to HIRING IMMEDIATELY!

Responsibilities

• Operate sit-down forklift and other heavy equipment safely.
• Assist machine operators and production teams with maintenance, cleanup, and material handling.
• Manually move freight, stock, raw materials, and finished products.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas and machines.
• Attend weekly safety meetings and adhere to safety regulations.
• Operate machinery and equipment, including hoppers, bagging machines, and palletizers.
• Assist in loading/unloading trucks and completing shipping/receiving documents.
• Maintain and verify product inventory.
• Perform other duties as assigned, ensuring neat and orderly pallets.

Essential Skills

• 6+ months of experience operating a sit-down diesel forklift or similar heavy equipment.
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs regularly.
• Willingness to work outdoors year-round.
• Ability to follow detailed written and oral instructions.
• Capability to apply common sense understanding in various situations.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of QUAKERTOWN, PA.

The pay range for this position is $18.50 - $20.00/hr.
