Industrial Maintenance Technician
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician with a strong background in industrial electrical systems, particularly PLC troubleshooting, VFDs, drivers, and panel signal experience. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in both electrical and mechanical troubleshooting within a manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain all production and auxiliary production equipment.
- Analyze and diagnose mechanical and electrical problems to make appropriate repairs.
- Dismantle machines and equipment for inspection, testing, and preventative maintenance.
- Perform minor machining, welding, plumbing, and other maintenance tasks as needed.
- Adhere to all safety procedures and proactively contribute to plant safety, ensuring equipment meets safety regulations.
- Communicate daily issues and information to supervisors and other employees as required.
Essential Skills
- Industrial electrical experience with at least 3 years in an industrial maintenance role.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting electrical and mechanical problems of production machinery.
- Experience with PLC control systems, particularly Allen Bradley and Fanuc is a plus.
- Knowledge of industrial electric systems, including motors, motor controls, electrical panels, and schematics.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with preventive maintenance, pneumatics, and electrical systems troubleshooting.
- No formal degree or certifications required, but 5+ years of experience is ideal.
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Scranton, PA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
