Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician with a strong background in industrial electrical systems, particularly PLC troubleshooting, VFDs, drivers, and panel signal experience. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in both electrical and mechanical troubleshooting within a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain all production and auxiliary production equipment.
• Analyze and diagnose mechanical and electrical problems to make appropriate repairs.
• Dismantle machines and equipment for inspection, testing, and preventative maintenance.
• Perform minor machining, welding, plumbing, and other maintenance tasks as needed.
• Adhere to all safety procedures and proactively contribute to plant safety, ensuring equipment meets safety regulations.
• Communicate daily issues and information to supervisors and other employees as required.

Essential Skills

• Industrial electrical experience with at least 3 years in an industrial maintenance role.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting electrical and mechanical problems of production machinery.
• Experience with PLC control systems, particularly Allen Bradley and Fanuc is a plus.
• Knowledge of industrial electric systems, including motors, motor controls, electrical panels, and schematics.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with preventive maintenance, pneumatics, and electrical systems troubleshooting.
• No formal degree or certifications required, but 5+ years of experience is ideal.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Scranton, PA.

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Scranton,PA.
