Assembler

The assembler will play a crucial role in assembling PC boards and small electronic circuit boards using hand tools. This position demands precision and attention to detail in soldering parts under a microscope and working from schematics and drawings to determine assembly requirements.

• Assemble PC boards and small electronic circuit boards using hand tools.
• Solder parts under a microscope to circuit boards.
• Work from schematics and drawings to determine assembly requirements for boards.
• Inspect solder and layout of boards after assembly to ensure compliance with customer specifications.

• Experience as an electrical assembler.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and schematics.
• Skilled in soldering and quality inspection.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with computer-operated quality systems.
• Training in Microsoft Office suite is highly desired.
• Experience in quality testing is a plus.

This role is set in a climate-controlled and humidity-controlled manufacturing shop, laid out in a lean manufacturing fashion. The team consists of a test operator, the AOI operator (this contractor), and a team lead. The work requires both sitting and standing while performing various tasks.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of SHIPPENSBURG, PA.

The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $17.00/hr.
