Water Operator

Location: $16-20/hr Weekly Pay

Location: Some Travel Required

Schedule: 6–7 days/week, ~60–80 hours/week

Industry: Oil & Gas – Water Transfer

Employment Type: Full-Time, Long-Term Opportunity

About the Role

This is a high‑demand, high‑opportunity position for individuals who aren’t afraid of long hours, outdoor work, and a fast‑paced environment. Water Operators support critical water transfer operations on oil and gas sites. Work continues in all weather conditions, and candidates must be flexible for both day and night shifts. Per diem opportunities may be available depending on the assignment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install and lay 6" and 10" poly, yellow mine, and aluminum water transfer lines
  • Monitor pumps, tanks, lines, and other field equipment
  • Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively
  • Ensure frac tanks maintain proper water levels for site operations
  • Perform general labor tasks related to water transfer
  • Conduct field inspections to identify and resolve leaks or system issues

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Minimum 6 months of oil & gas experience (roustabout, water transfer, rig up/rig down)
  • At least 6 months of outdoor or construction experience
  • Proficiency with hand and power tools
  • Valid Driver’s License

Preferred Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Experience in oil & gas or 6+ years of related work (construction, manufacturing, landscaping, etc.)
  • Mechanically inclined with strong problem‑solving skills
  • Ability to provide steel‑toe boots within the first week (required for safety compliance)

This is a Contract position based out of Washington, PA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $18.00/hr.
