Job Description

The welder plays a crucial role in our manufacturing process, ensuring that all components are accurately assembled and welded according to specifications. This position requires precision and expertise in handling various metals and welding techniques.

Shift: 1st shift Monday-Friday 6am-2:30pm

Pay Rate: $20-$26/hour based on experience

Benefits paid 100% by employer

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints from a variety of manufacturing sites, ensuring accurate execution of specifications.
• Layout and fit all parts and components prior to tacking them together to be welded.
• Employ solid wire (MIG/GMAW) or flux/metal core wire (FCAW) welding techniques on metals including mild steel, carbon steel, aluminum, stainless steel, and galvanized steel.
• Grind and polish welds after completion to ensure cleanliness and detail before inspection.
• Operate overhead cranes, jib cranes, hoists, and sit-down forklifts to move parts from material storage or loading areas to the weld cell.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Waynesboro, PA.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $26.00/hr.
