We are seeking a skilled technician to repair remote radio heads and baseband units. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of RF signals and 4G/5G technologies, as well as expertise in electronics components and troubleshooting. PCB soldering experience is essential, and IPC certification is a plus. Proficiency with a multimeter is required, while experience with oscilloscopes and spectrum analyzers is preferred. Experience with Ericsson repairs is highly valued.
Responsibilities- Use soldering equipment to repair, modify, and replace parts on electronic circuit boards for remote radio heads and baseband units.
- Validate symptoms and diagnose issues using information from automated diagnostic machines.
- Disassemble devices, identify defective components, and perform PCB repairs.
- Reassemble and test units to ensure they are fully functional.
- Troubleshoot electronic components to the component level, resolving complex technical issues.
- Read and interpret schematics.
- Maintain satisfactory quality performance levels.
- Keep a clean and organized workstation.
- Train and assist other technicians in repair processes.
- Electronics certification.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Repair Technician or equivalent.
- Proficient in soldering and desoldering techniques.
- In-depth knowledge of electronic circuit components and theory.
- Basic understanding of RF signals and 4G/5G technologies.
- Proficiency with multimeters.
- Experience with PCB repair.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics.
- IPC certification.
- Experience with oscilloscopes and spectrum analyzers.
- Previous experience with Ericsson repairs.
- Successful completion of a technical aptitude test.
The position operates on the 1st shift from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, Monday through Friday. The work environment is part of a large-scale Engineering, Repair, and Logistics company, engaging with some of the nation's largest wireless telecommunications providers. The workplace encourages maintaining a clean and organized workstation.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of West Chester, PA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $30.00 - $30.00/hr.
