Job Title: Engineering Lab Technician

Job Description

The Lab Technician is responsible for collecting and maintaining ECU test data, as well as testing and troubleshooting completed Environmental Control Units (ECUs) to ensure reliability and adherence to customer specifications. This role involves running systems ROR units that return to the facility and require some level of repair. The technician will operate units in the lab, follow test procedures, and determine necessary repairs.

Responsibilities

• Collect and maintain ECU test data.
• Test and troubleshoot completed Environmental Control Units to ensure reliability.
• Adhere to customer specifications during testing.
• Run systems ROR units that require repair.
• Follow test procedures to determine necessary repairs.

Essential Skills

• Experience with HVAC systems, particularly Industrial/Military Environmental Control Units.
• EPA Certification is heavily preferred and required for working with systems.
• Proficiency in environmental testing, including working with Environment Test Chambers.
• Strong data collection skills.
• Experience as a Test or Engineering Technician.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Possession of an EPA Certification or willingness to obtain one.
