Job Description

The Pipe Foreman will travel to customer sites across the Mid-Atlantic Region, providing vital support to both employees and customers during active projects. This role demands previous experience in the food and beverage sector, with a robust mechanical background. The ideal candidate will excel at diagnosing and solving problems, and be equally comfortable working independently and within a team environment.

*This is a Pipe Foreman within the Food & Beverage industry - sanitary pipe welding experience and knowledge is a MUST HAVE*

Responsibilities

• Ensure a safe working environment at customer sites.
• Assist with planning and tracking of job-related activities.
• Direct a group of millwrights, pipe fitters/welders, and other crew members.
• Interact professionally and positively with management, employees, and customers.
• Determine parts, supplies, tools, and equipment needs, place orders, and organize in advance of production needs.
• Research and compile information, providing reports as needed.
• Ensure all paperwork and timesheets are complete, accurate, and submitted on time.
• Weld and fabricate proficiently.
• Work within precise limits and at heights.
• Travel out-of-town for extended periods.
• Lead a team of 2 to 20+ employees.

MUST HAVES

• 5+ years of experience specializing in Process/Sanitation Piping.
• Recent TIG Welding experience.
• Ability to pass a 6G Sanitary Tube and Pipe TIG test.
• Ability to pass a pipefitter test.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of York, PA.

The pay range for this position is $50000.00 - $135000.00/yr.
