Welder – 1st Shift ($22/hr)

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Welder with strong experience in MIG welding, blueprint reading, and grinding. The ideal candidate will bring at least 2 years of hands‑on experience, along with the ability to safely operate grinders, cranes, and forklifts. Experience with robotic welding and collaboration in group welding initiatives is highly valued.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform high‑quality MIG welding, primarily on carbon steel in flat and horizontal positions.
• Read and interpret blueprints to ensure accuracy in fabrication and assembly.
• Safely operate grinders, overhead cranes, and forklifts.
• Participate in group welding efforts, supporting team productivity and workflow.
• Fabricate steel components by cutting, shaping, and joining materials according to specifications.

Essential Skills & Experience

• 2+ years of MIG welding experience (flat & horizontal).
• 2+ years of blueprint reading.
• 2+ years of grinding experience.
• Strong understanding of fabrication processes and shop safety.

Work Environment

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Zelienople, PA.

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $22.00/hr.
