Primary Responsibilities
- Work closely with defense customers, other contractors, intelligence personnel, senior scientists, principal investigators, and program managers, to understand needs and develop or recommend solutions.
- Model and characterize electromagnetic (EM) phenomenology (scattering, absorption, polarization, refraction, diffraction, etc.) primarily in radio frequency (RF) bands
- Characterize and evaluate radar cross sections (RCS)
- Write and present technical information related to development activities
- Develop technical solutions and help write proposals for new work.
- Ph.D. in Physics, Mathematics, or Electrical Engineering with 13+ years of experience.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- Expertise in applied electromagnetics with skills in EM modeling and experimentation
- Robust communication skills and a willingness and interest to collaborate in an interdisciplinary team environment to drive towards overall project and team objectives
- Excellent technical writing, documentation, and organization
- Ability to both lead and work as a team member
- Strong attention to detail and deadlines
- Ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI clearance
