About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Control Equipment Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will ensure reliable QC equipment support in a fast-paced environment, manage equipment lifecycle activities, and lead projects that maintain compliance with cGMP standards. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is highly trainable, eager to learn, and passionate about quality and data integrity.
Basic Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED with 2 years of work experience OR
- Associate degree with 6 months of work experience OR
- Bachelor’s degree (preferred in Biotechnology, Engineering, or related technical field)
Top 3 Must-Have Skills
- Ability to work independently and deliver accurate, first-time results
- Strong focus on data integrity and cGMP practices
- Experience with analytical laboratory testing and routine task execution with efficiency and accuracy
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Execute routine work orders and provide QC equipment support
- Manage procurement and lifecycle replacement of QC equipment
- Own change controls for new or replacement QC equipment
- Lead cross-functional projects to implement analytical instruments on time and within budget
- Monitor and troubleshoot analytical benchtop equipment
- Support inspection readiness activities and site audits
- Create new assets and PM schedules in Maximo
- Collaborate with vendors for preventive maintenance and obtain quotes for equipment replacement
Ideal Candidate
- Bachelor’s degree in Biotechnology, Engineering, or related technical field
- Highly trainable and eager to learn new technologies and processes
- Strong attention to detail and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of West Greenwich, RI.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $40.00 - $45.00/hr.
