We are seeking an experienced welder/fabricator to join our team, specializing in the fabrication and assembly of industrial mixers. This role involves working with a variety of metals to support industries such as Adhesives, Sealants, Silicones and Caulks, Coatings and Paints, Cosmetics and Pharmaceuticals, Inks and Pigments, Rubber, Polymers, Resins, and Foams, and Specialty Chemicals. The ideal candidate will be adept in MIG, TIG, and stick welding techniques, with a focus on custom projects and the ability to interpret blueprints.
Responsibilities- Interpret blueprints and technical documents to layout and fabricate components using carbon steel, stainless steel, and other alloys.
- Operate welding and fabricating machines such as brakes, rolls, shears, flame cutters, and drill presses.
- Perform field welds on equipment and pressure vessels.
- Inspect welds for quality and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Assist with equipment preparation, assembly, and installation as needed.
- Proficiency in MIG, TIG, and stick welding techniques.
- Ability to read blueprints and perform precise measurements.
- Knowledge of welding machinery, electrical equipment, and manual tools.
- Minimum 2 years of welding experience.
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and work in various positions including standing and kneeling.
- High school diploma or equivalent; welding certificate preferred.
- 3+ years of industrial welding/fabrication experience preferred.
- Familiarity with ASME/BPVC and AWS certifications.
- Willingness to work overtime, and occasionally in confined spaces or at heights.

Work EnvironmentThe work environment is non-climate controlled, which can be hot in the summer and cold in the winter, featuring an open-air design. The facility operates with a focus on quality over quantity, and the dress code requires steel-toed boots, safety glasses, and gloves. You'll be part of a small team of four assemblers, working the first shift from 6:30 AM to 4:30 PM, with extended hours due to high order volumes.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of FORT MILL, SC.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $22.00 - $32.00/hr.
