Structural Welder – Charleston, SC

Pay: $45/hr

Per Diem: $140/day (for qualified travelers)

Schedule: Full‑time, long‑term opportunity

We are seeking experienced welders for a major shipbuilding and repair project in the Charleston, SC area. This is a high‑level skilled trade position requiring strong structural fitting experience within shipyard environments.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of welding experience (required)
• Strong blueprint reading
• Proficiency with hand tools, torches, grinders, and shipyard equipment
• Ability to work in confined spaces and at heights

• Reliable transportation and ability to work full shifts
• Must be able to lift, bend, climb, and perform physical tasks

Compensation & Benefits

• $45 per hour, based on experience
• $140/day per diem for eligible travelers
• Long‑term, stable project
• Overtime opportunities may be available

This is a Contract position based out of Goose Creek, SC.

The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $55.00/hr.
