Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Lab Technician to join our team in a dynamic mixing and laboratory environment. This role is essential in supporting our operations by ensuring accurate calibration and mixing of ingredients.
Responsibilities
- Calibrate and operate laboratory equipment accurately.
- Mix ingredients according to specified recipes and procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the laboratory environment.
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Strong numeracy skills.
- Experience in laboratory settings, particularly in calibration and mixing.
- Previous experience in recipe testing or food processing is advantageous.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
The position operates in a mixing and laboratory environment with shifts from Monday to Friday. Depending on the mixing requirements, working hours may vary from 6am-2pm or extend to 4/5pm. The role is based in a leader in the Charleston area known for recipe testing, cost analysis, consultation, nutritional paneling, food processing, and packaging. You will be part of a team that creates mixes for major BBQs and other local favorites. The environment fosters long-term career growth, as evidenced by team members who have been with the organization for over 20 years.

This is a Contract position based out of Hanahan, SC.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $17.00 - $20.00/hr.
