Skilled Carpenter/Installer

We are seeking a Skilled Carpenter/Installer to join a renovation project at Wild Dunes. The role involves installing metal post systems and railing kits with precision and organization. You will be responsible for working on balconies and breezeways, ensuring high standards of quality and safety while following detailed drawings and instructions.

• Install metal posts on balconies and ensure proper leveling and alignment.
• Verify correct posts are installed in appropriate locations.
• Assemble railing kits consisting of multiple components.
• Cut threaded rods to specified lengths and install as per specifications.
• Secure posts using nuts and bolts, ensuring proper torque and alignment.
• Maintain organization of materials, hardware, and work areas.
• Follow provided drawings and installation plans accurately.
• Work efficiently while adhering to quality and safety standards.

• Construction, blueprint, carpentry, or installation experience (preferably with metal or railing systems).
• Ability to accurately read a tape measure.
• Capability to level and plumb posts and components.
• Experience working with nuts, bolts, and hardware systems.
• Comfortable assembling kits and following step-by-step installation processes.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a crew.

• Must provide basic hand tools including tape measure, hand tools, levels, and wrenches.

Work is conducted Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Saws and major power tools are provided, ensuring you have the necessary equipment to perform effectively on the job.

This is a Contract position based out of Isle of Palms, SC.

The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $30.00/hr.
