Job Title: Manual Machinist Trainee

• Starting pay of $19-21/hour, most manual machinists make $30-36/hour
• 1st shift

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated candidate who possesses a strong mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn. The ideal candidate will be familiar with using hand and power tools, reading shop drawings and blueprints, and following production schedules to meet customer demands and deadlines.

*The ideal candidate will be trained to be a Manual Machinist. Once the candidate is trained they will be compensated further.

Responsibilities

• Operate manual machinery to produce high-quality components.
• Follow production schedules to meet customer demands and deadlines.
• Read and interpret shop drawings and blueprints.
• Utilize mechanical aptitude to accurately measure using tape measures, fractions, and decimals.
• Maintain a strong commitment to quality and attention to detail.

Essential Skills

• Mechanical aptitude, including the ability to work with tape measures, fractions, and decimals.
• Experience with hand and power tools.
• Ability to read shop drawings and blueprints.
• Strong manual dexterity and attention to detail.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license.
• Capability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $35.00/hr.
