Job Description

We are seeking reliable and safety-conscious Laborers/Flaggers to support operations at an active construction site. These roles are essential for maintaining safe traffic flow and assisting with general labor tasks around the site. Candidates must be punctual, able to work outdoors in varying conditions, and committed to maintaining a safe work environment.

Responsibilities

• Direct and control traffic around active work zones using flags and signage.
• Communicate clearly with equipment operators and crew members to ensure safety.
• Assist with site cleanup, material handling, and basic labor tasks as needed.
• Set up and remove traffic control devices such as cones, signs, and barriers.
• Monitor surroundings and report any safety concerns or hazards.
• Follow all site safety protocols and instructions from supervisors.

Essential Skills

• Experience in general labor or construction.
• Previous experience as a flagger or construction laborer is preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods and work in outdoor conditions.
• Proficiency in safety protocols and traffic control.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• OSHA 10 certification preferred but not required.

Work Environment

The work schedule is from 7 AM to 4 PM, Monday through Friday. The position is primarily outdoors, requiring candidates to be adaptable to different weather conditions.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of North Charleston, SC.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
