Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic DIRECT HIRE

Job Description

Support the maintenance, operation, and repair of all production-related systems and equipment. Ensure all preventive maintenance is performed on schedule, keeping equipment in its designed or validated state to maximize availability. Work must adhere to SOPs and equipment manufacturer service guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Address mechanical breakdown issues, equipment adjustments, and change outs promptly.
• Maintain equipment areas in inspection-ready condition, ensuring cleanliness, safety, and compliance with cGMP requirements.
• Coordinate with contractors for repairs, modifications, and installations of production equipment.
• Collaborate with Production, Engineering, and Quality on new system installations or modifications.
• Assist in projects for facility modifications, capacity expansion, and efficiency improvements.
• Report damage or potential problems with equipment or grounds promptly.
• Keep supervisors informed of project status and request assistance when needed.
• Start work on time, attend meetings, complete tasks promptly, and work overtime when required.
• Demonstrate initiative by suggesting improvements and finding innovative solutions to problems.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in mechanical maintenance and repair of production equipment.
• Skilled in troubleshooting mechanical breakdowns and performing equipment adjustments.
• Ability to perform preventive maintenance according to schedule and standards.
• Familiarity with cGMP compliance.
• Experience with facilities equipment and utilities maintenance.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Technical degree or certificate is preferred.
• Minimum 4 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.

This is a Permanent position based out of Summerville, SC.

The pay range for this position is $64480.00 - $70720.00/yr.

This is a fully onsite position in Summerville,SC.
