What You'll Do as a Lead Mechanic:
โ Proven experience in diesel vehicle diagnostics, preventative maintenance, and repair
โ Leadership experience or strong aptitude for team coordination
โ Basic tool set (Tool Allowance Provided!)
โ Hydraulic experience is a plus

What You'll Do as a Lead Mechanic:
- Lead and coordinate daily shop operations and mechanic team activities
- Perform and oversee repairs, inspections, and diagnostics on diesel vehicles, including electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake, and air systems
- Utilize vehicle computer systems to interpret failure modes and adjust engine and vehicle control modules
- Assign and review repairs identified on driver Vehicle Inspection Reports
- Respond to road calls and support emergency repairs
- Ensure accurate documentation using fleet maintenance software
- Conduct test drives to verify service and repair quality
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area in compliance with OSHA and company standards
- Mentor and train junior mechanics, fostering a culture of safety and excellence
