Machine Operator

Machine Operator -- Multiple Shifts Open -- Weekly Pay!

Pay: $20 - $23 per hour

We are looking for a dedicated Machine Operator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up and operating roll stands, as well as safely maneuvering machinery such as clamp trucks and forklifts. Your duties will also include maintaining accurate records of allocated board and managing board waste efficiently. You will work collaboratively with team members to ensure a smooth production process and assist in other duties as needed.

Responsibilities

• Review job jacket with team members to understand production requirements.
• Organize and maintain roll stock for presses.
• Set up and operate roll stands effectively.
• Safely operate clamp trucks and forklifts to move paper rolls, paper waste, and printed cartons.
• Maintain accurate records of allocated board and report board waste and damage.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Assist during downtime and machine repairs as directed by Operators.
• Perform duties of Press Catcher, including jogging and palletizing quality WIP products.
• Monitor print and cut quality of cartons.
• Perform basic maintenance on the press.

Essential Skills

• Production and machine operation experience.
• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to troubleshoot issues effectively.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow work instructions.
• Basic math skills.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sioux Falls, SD.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
