Welder- Weekly Pay- Start ASAP

Location: Watertown, SD

Pay: $22-$30/hour

Hours: Monday-Friday, Various Shifts Available

The position involves reading and interpreting blueprints and machine drawings to determine specific welding requirements. You will connect cables from the welding unit to obtain the correct amperage, voltage, slope, and pulse as specified by work instructions.

Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret blueprints and machine drawings to understand welding requirements.
• Connect welding unit cables to achieve specified amperage, voltage, slope, and pulse.
• Manually guide electrode or gun along the weld line, maintaining arc length and speed to form the specified depth of fusion and bead.
• Evaluate the quality of welds based on the color of metal, sound of the weld, and the size of the molten puddle.

Essential Skills:

• Proficiency in Mig welding and Tig welding.
• Experience in blueprint reading and interpretation.
• Ability to perform fabrication tasks.
• A minimum of 2 years of welding experience.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience as a Mig welder.
• Strong attention to detail and safety.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Watertown, SD.

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $30.00/hr.
