Job Description
As a Civil Drafter, you will be responsible for developing detailed site plans, grading plans, drainage plans, and other civil engineering drawings using Civil 3D. This role requires collaboration with engineers and project managers to ensure accuracy and adherence to project specifications.
Responsibilities
- Develop detailed site plans, grading plans, drainage plans, and other civil engineering drawings using Civil 3D.
- Collaborate with engineers and project managers to ensure accuracy and adherence to project specifications.
- Prepare and revise design drawings, schematics, and blueprints based on engineering designs and field data.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date project files and documentation.
- Review and check drawings for completeness and accuracy before final submission.
Essential Skills
- Minimum 2 years of Civil 3D experience.
- Strong understanding of civil engineering design and drafting principles.
- Ability to interpret and create detailed drawings, specifications, and design documents.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Previous experience in a civil-site or construction environment is a plus.
Work Environment
The work environment includes working with advanced technologies such as Civil 3D and AutoCAD. Team collaboration is essential, and effective communication with engineers and project managers is crucial. A focus on accuracy and detail is paramount to ensure project success.

This is a Permanent position based out of Franklin, TN.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $72800.00/yr.
