Low Voltage Technician

We are seeking a Telecommunications Technician to support large‑scale commercial data center construction projects in Gallatin, TN. This role is highly hands‑on and suited for candidates with entry‑level to early‑career experience in commercial low voltage or telecommunications work who are comfortable in physically demanding environments.

Technicians will support infrastructure installation inside a large data center campus and work as part of a structured team environment focused on quality, safety, and productivity.

Primary Responsibilities

• Install and support low voltage telecommunications infrastructure in a commercial data center environment
• Assist with assembly and installation of server cabinets and related equipment
• Pull, route, and secure telecommunications cabling
• Use basic telecom hand tools safely and effectively
• Work on ladders and lifts as required by the project
• Maintain clean and organized work areas
• Follow all job site safety requirements and industry standards
• Collaborate with team members and site leadership to meet project timelines

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of commercial low voltage or telecommunications experience, preferably in large commercial or data center environments
• Familiarity with basic telecommunications hand tools
• Ability to perform physically demanding work, including climbing ladders, lifting materials, and working on active construction sites
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail
• Ability to work on a team in a structured construction environment

Preferred / Nice‑to‑Have Qualifications

• Experience with:
  • CCTV systems
  • Access control systems
  • Security or related low voltage systems
• Outside Plant (OSP) experience is a plus but not required

Schedule & Work Environment

• Work performed on an active commercial data center construction site
• Indoor construction environment across multiple large facilities
• Extended work hours anticipated; regular overtime available based on project needs
• PPE required at all times

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Gallatin, TN.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
