Aerotek is hiring a Sanitation Technician
Shift: 10:00PM to 6:00AM Wednesday Thru Sunday nights
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning and sanitizing of production equipment, floors, walls, and other facility areas in accordance with company and regulatory standards such as FDA, USDA, and SQF.
- Disassemble and reassemble equipment for deep cleaning as required.
- Operate sanitation equipment including pressure washers, foamers, and chemical dispensers.
- Accurately mix and use cleaning chemicals following safety guidelines and SDS documentation.
- Complete sanitation logs and documentation to ensure compliance with internal and external audits.
- Follow all safety procedures including lockout/tagout (LOTO), PPE usage, and confined space protocols.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding sanitation issues or equipment concerns.
- Support cross-functional teams during pre-operational inspections and audits.
- Operate PMV and obtain certification to safely operate moving product and machine components.
- Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs.
Essential Skills
- Sanitation techniques including equipment cleaning, chemical handling, CIP, disassembly/reassembly.
- Food safety knowledge including HACCP, GMPs, pathogen testing, allergen control, and regulatory compliance.
- Documentation skills for inspection logs, audit preparation, and SOP adherence.
- Physical readiness for lifting, standing, and working in cold/wet environments.
- Soft skills including communication, teamwork, attention to detail, and optional bilingual capabilities.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in food manufacturing and general labor.
- Understanding of chemical handling and quality assurance.
- Ability to work effectively in a manufacturing environment.

Work Environment
Join our night shift from 10:00pm to 6:00am, Wednesday to Sunday nights, with occasional overtime. Work in a clean, temperature-controlled environment with cooler areas and some water on the floor. Experience a unique atmosphere with dairy product scents, large processing towers, and various machinery. Attire includes FDA-required hair and beard nets, eye protection, hearing protection, uniforms, smocks, pants, and safety shoes with no laces. All personnel must adhere to strict sanitation protocols. The team is smaller on the overnight shift, promoting a self-accountable, team-oriented, and family-feeling culture.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Permanent position based out of Humboldt, TN.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $46425.60 - $46425.60/yr.
