Civil Engineer PE

Description

The successful candidate will take responsible charge and perform responsibilities on assigned projects

which shall include but not be limited to:

• Coordinate with local authorities, utilities, and municipalities

• Coordinate with suppliers, contractors, clients, and client representatives to determine

project scope and achieve successful project construction

• Coordinate project designs with other disciplines to determine needs, resolve problems, and

provide technical information

• Assist management in establishing budgets and projects schedules

• Attend meetings with owners, clients, or other designers as needed

• Perform specific engineering studies and other design analyses using industry software

• Produce written specifications for project equipment and construction methods

• Conduct project job site visits during construction to monitor progress and ensure

conformance to design specifications, owner expectations, and standard building codes

Additional Skills & Qualifications

An ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and experience:

• B.S. degree in Civil Engineering and four or more years applicable experience in discipline

design

• Professional Engineering License preferred

• Civil design with a variety of projects, including but not limited to site, roadway, and utility

collection and distribution

• Proficient in Autodesk Civil 3D

• Water and Wastewater treatment is desired

• Proficient in hydraulic modeling is desired

• Project Management and marketing Civil design services desired
