Medical Assistant — Clinic (Contract-to-Hire)

We're looking for a compassionate and dependable Medical Assistant to join our clinic team. This contract-to-hire position working 40 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities

• Measure and record patient vital signs
• Efficiently triage incoming patients
• Conduct follow-up phone calls
• Communicate clearly with parents and guardians
• Support providers with room preparation
• Perform room cleaning and sanitation
• Administer point-of-care testing
• Carry out phlebotomy procedures

Essential Qualifications

• Prior experience in medical assisting
• Prior experience working with pediatric patients
• Proficiency in phlebotomy techniques

Additional Requirements

• Valid RMA or CMA certification
• GED or high school diploma required before onboarding

Work Environment

• Friendly, low-stress office setting
• Work with the same provider across two clinic locations
• Standard hours: 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with a 1-hour lunch
• Immediate accrual and use of PTO and sick time
