Job Title: Medical Assistant

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join a pediatric clinic. This role involves working 20-40 hours a week and may require floating to other clinics to meet full-time hours. The position is contract to hire.

Responsibilities

• Take patient vitals
• Triage patients
• Conduct follow-up calls
• Communicate with parent/guardian
• Assist provider with room setup
• Perform room cleaning as needed
• Conduct point-of-care (POC) testing
• Perform phlebotomy

Essential Skills

• Experience in medical assisting
• Proficiency in phlebotomy

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• RMA/CMA license
• GED or High School Diploma required prior to onboarding

Work Environment

The work environment is in an office setting. The candidate will float between two clinics and consistently work with the same provider. The environment is laid-back with kind providers who adhere to their schedule, from 8 AM to 4:30 PM.
