Certified Pharmacy Technician

Job Title: Pharmacy Technician

Location: Near Downtown Knoxville!

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM

Pay: $22- $24/hr

The main thing the manager is looking for is a pharmacy technician with a good attitude, willingness to learn, and reliability. She is more than happy to train the right candidate!

• 3-month contract to hire!
• No weekends! Closed only on major holidays.

License & Certification:

• Active TN Pharmacy Technician License
• CPhT (PTCB preferred, not required)

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare IV and pharmaceutical compounds using sterile techniques (USP-797 compliance)
• Maintain accurate drug inventory and verify lot numbers
• Clean and maintain ante-room and clean room per regulatory standards
• Perform environmental monitoring and sanitation
• Assist with on-call responsibilities as needed
• Ensure confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA and company policies

Qualifications:

• Licensed Pharmacy Technician in good standing
• PTCB is strongly preferred, but not required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Proficient in Windows and Microsoft Office

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Knoxville, TN.

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $24.00/hr.
