Welder

We are seeking a skilled Metal Fabricator with a strong understanding of welding various types and thicknesses of metals. The ideal candidate will be proficient in operating hand tools such as grinders and drills, and knowledgeable about the use of fabrication equipment including shears, brakes, and band saws.

• Manually load and unload products onto work tables with weights up to 25 lbs.
• Operate a forklift safely and efficiently.
• Perform welding tasks using TIG, MIG, and stick welders.
• Utilize common hand tools for product fabrication including power drills, die grinders, hammers, and porta-bans.
• Use shop equipment such as shears, press brakes, drill presses, bench grinders, and Do All saws for product fabrication.

• Proficiency in welding techniques including MIG and TIG.
• Experience in fabricating and building metal structures.
• At least 2 years of welding experience.

• Familiarity with operating fabrication equipment such as shears, brakes, and band saws.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of La Vergne, TN.

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $40.00/hr.
