Job Title: Wiring Assembler
Job Description
The Wiring Assembler will work to modify city, police, EMS, and fire vehicles, assisting with the up-fit of emergency vehicles under the guidance of Lead Installers and Bay Managers.
Responsibilities
- Assist with vehicle breakdown, including removing bumper skirts, fenders, seats, interior trims, headlights, taillights, and fog lights.
- Install basic components such as push bumpers, vehicle partition cages, rear ABS seats, lock boxes, and window bars.
- Reassemble vehicle components after modification.
- Mount basic light heads onto the vehicle body and install interior light heads in front windshields and rear windows.
- Mount Lightbars to the vehicle roof.
- Use crimpers, strippers, and butt splice connectors for proper wiring connections.
- Understand 12-volt systems and set patterns on remote light heads.
Essential Skills
- Proficiency in using hand tools.
- Experience with wiring and installation on audio or lighting equipment is helpful.
- Understanding of schematics, circuits, and wiring diagrams.
- Previous automotive interest or experience is helpful.

- Eye for detail and accuracy.

- Experience with automotive or custom truck accessories is helpful.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work underneath vehicles.

Work Environment
The role involves working in an auto body shop environment with no air conditioning but open bay doors and fans for ventilation. Teams of three support vehicle repairs, with a total of 20 members in the Jupiter team. The Pompano Beach schedule is Monday to Friday, 7:30 am to 4:15 pm, with a 45-minute lunch break. Tools required include a hand socket set, drill, crimping tool, and more, with a utility knife and safety glasses provided.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lebanon, TN.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.50 - $21.00/hr.
