Job Title: Mechatronics Technician

Job Description

As a Mechatronics Technician, you will lead a team of service technicians in the installation and repair of automated packaging and distribution equipment. You will support the Operations Maintenance team by designing solutions for complex problems and managing projects, while also helping train and mentor both service and contract technicians.

Responsibilities

• Lead service technicians in the installation and repair of automated packaging and distribution equipment.
• Design solutions for complex operational problems and manage related projects.
• Train and mentor service technicians and contract technicians.
• Conduct preventative maintenance planning and manage maintenance schedules.
• Perform maintenance supervision and risk management.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues.
• Engage in conveyor and automation maintenance.

Essential Skills

• 4+ years of experience in repairing and maintaining Material Handling Equipment (MHE) and Pneumatic Systems.
• 4+ years of experience in installing, maintaining, and repairing automated packaging and distribution equipment.
• Proficiency in maintenance management and preventative maintenance planning.
• Experience in data analysis and project management.
• Knowledge of control systems and six sigma methodologies.
• Experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems).
• Proficient in mentoring junior technicians.
• Experience in electrical and mechanical troubleshooting.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years of experience with Microsoft Office products and applications.
• Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends, nights, and holidays.
• 4+ years of experience conducting predictive and preventative maintenance procedures.
• 4+ years of experience reading blueprints and electrical schematics.
• 3+ years of troubleshooting and diagnostics experience for MHE.

Work Environment

Work in a dynamic environment where you may move up to 49lbs, as well as stand and walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, with or without reasonable accommodation.

This is a Permanent position based out of Lebanon, TN.

The pay range for this position is $75400.00 - $90700.00/yr.
