Job Description
Join our team as an Electric Sit-Down Forklift Operator in a dynamic manufacturing and warehouse environment. You will be responsible for operating an electric sit-down forklift, ensuring the efficient movement of materials, and maintaining inventory accuracy through scanning technology.
Responsibilities
- Operate an electric sit-down forklift for 95% of the shift.
- Load and unload trucks efficiently.
- Utilize scanners to track and manage inventory.
- Navigate and handle the warehouse racking system with 'Track Racks' sliding tracks.
- At least 1 year of experience operating a sit-down forklift.
- Proficiency in using RF scanners for inventory management.
- Material handling expertise.
- Experience with shipping and receiving operations.
- Ability to comply with GMP standards.
- Understanding of warehouse picking, loading, and unloading processes.
- Requirement to wear 6" steel toe boots, hair net, and beard net.
- No jewelry, fake nails, or loose clothing allowed.

Work Environment
Work in a food manufacturing environment with structured shifts. First shift runs from 5:00am to 3:40pm, and the second shift from 1:30pm to 12:00am. Compliance with safety attire, including 6" steel toe boots and hair protection, is mandatory.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Nashville, TN.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.50/hr.
