Service Technician

🚗 Vehicle Requirement

This Service Technician will need to drive their own vehicle—either an SUV or pickup—for the first 6 months. This role is a 6-month contract-to-hire (C2H) position.

🔧 Role Overview

The technician will work independently on service tickets for fire systems, access control, and cameras in commercial and enterprise environments. A weekly schedule will be provided, assigning service calls.

🔥 Service Responsibilities

• Provide reliable, high-quality customer support
• Instruct customers on system operation and functionality
• Conduct system testing and signal verification
• Maintain truck stock and inventory (equipment and tools)
• Install new systems, perform upgrades, and add system enhancements
• Organize and use technical resources efficiently to complete assigned tasks
• Track progress and ensure timely completion of work
• Submit task-related documentation, productivity logs, and reports promptly
• Demonstrate strong work ethic and attention to detail
• Assist with additional projects as needed

🎓 Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Vocational Training (minimum)
• 1+ years of relevant experience
• Proficient with enterprise intrusion systems, fire systems, CCTV, intercoms, and access control
• Familiarity with local and national codes (preferred)
• Ability to read drawings and pull wires as required
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass a drug screening
