Job Description
Join our team as a Welder on the 2nd shift, from 2:30 PM to 12:30 AM, Monday through Thursday. This role involves welding with a focus on Mig Welding, requiring skills in flat, uphill, and downhill welding. The position offers a supportive and dynamic environment with opportunities for advancement.
Responsibilities
- Perform Mig Welding, including flat, uphill, and downhill techniques.
- Participate in a weld test scheduled between Monday and Thursday.
- Collaborate with the foreman to ensure quality and efficiency in welding tasks.
- Engage in a short interview process post-weld test.
- Proficiency in Mig Welding.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
- Experience with flux core welding.
- Knowledge of TCAT welding techniques.
- Intermediate welding skills are acceptable; training is provided.
- No resume required; weld test and short interview are essential.

Work Environment
The work environment is clean and relaxed, although it is non-climate controlled. The foreman is flexible with scheduling to accommodate necessary tests and interviews.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Oak Ridge, TN.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $23.00/hr.
