Custom Print Technician

The Custom Print Technician performs a range of duties that encompass direct collaboration with the Sign Shop team lead or supervisor, ensuring equipment is prepped as necessary. The role involves reviewing orders for quality and accuracy, maintaining an understanding of signage, graphics, and current company offerings or promotions, and following directions on machine usage. The technician oversees the manufacture of customer projects, operates sign shop printers, maintains cleanliness and organization within the shop, and performs basic Quality Assurance measures on signage orders.

• Work directly with the Sign Shop team lead/supervisor to prepare equipment as necessary.
• Review orders for quality and accuracy, ensuring all accompanying documents meet standards.
• Maintain an understanding of signage, graphics, and current company offerings or promotions.
• Follow supervisor or team lead directions on machine operation.
• Oversee the manufacture of customer projects, including signs and stickers.
• Operate the sign shop printers.
• Keep the sign shop clean and organized, delegating tasks as needed.
• Perform basic Quality Assurance measures on signage orders.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Basic graphic design experience.
• Effective communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
• Ability to meet production goals and deadlines.
• Ability to prioritize and organize multiple tasks or projects.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Capable of working efficiently individually and as part of a team.
• Ability to troubleshoot or problem-solve.

• High School Diploma preferred.
• 1+ years of basic graphic design experience preferred.
• Familiarity with Adobe Suite and Creative Cloud.
• Experience with printing, graphic design, and general labor.
• Knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and Epson Printers.
• Experience with car wrapping.

The work environment is climate-controlled and fast-paced, requiring critical thinking and a proactive approach to seeking the next product. The position involves being on your feet all day from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Piney Flats, TN 37686.

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $22.00/hr.
