Job Title: Mold Set-Up Technician
Job Description
We are seeking dedicated Mold Set-Up Technicians who will play a crucial role in maintaining product quality and operational efficiency. The role involves preventing product non-conformity, identifying and recording quality issues, and implementing effective solutions. Technicians will also be responsible for conducting visual quality inspections, communicating with process technicians and maintenance teams, and managing mold and material changes as required.
Responsibilities
- Initiate action to prevent product non-conformity.
- Identify and record quality problems, and recommend and implement solutions.
- Verify the implementation of solutions and dispose of scrap appropriately.
- Conduct visual quality inspections and identify defects.
- Communicate with process technicians and maintenance teams.
- Perform mold and material changes as needed.
- Conduct gage and weight checks to validate process capabilities.
Essential Skills
- Experience with injection molding, set-ups, and changeovers.
- Proficiency in using calipers and micrometers.
- Experience as a mold setter.
- Ability to perform machine set-ups and changeovers.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- 1-2 years of experience as a mold setter.
- Automotive industry experience is preferred but not required.

2nd and 3rd shift open
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Pulaski, TN.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $23.00/hr.
